The United Kingdom (UK) is a country located in northwestern Europe, made up of four nations: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Its capital is London, a major global city known for its history, culture, and finance. English is the main language, and the currency is the British Pound (£). The UK is famous for its rich history, world-class universities (like Oxford and Cambridge), diverse culture, and global influence in politics, science, and the arts.


UK Process

Documents needed for the offer letter:

1. All academic documents

2. Passport

3. Passport size photo

4. Signature of the student on white paper

5. IELTS/PTE scores

6. MOI (Medium of Instruction) letter for an IELTS waiver if they have 2.8 in 12th English theory, overall B/B+ or higher.

7. Work experience/internship letters to justify the academic gap.

8. A resume or CV

 

For unconditional offer letter and CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for studies):

1. pass the pre-CAS interview

2. submit financial documents.

·       One-month-old funds of 55-60 lakhs in the student's name if possible. If shown from the parents' account, then the birth certificate and relationship certificate need to be shown.

·       Education loans should be in the student's name only. Amount: 55-60 lakhs NPR.

Process:

1. Getting a conditional offer letter from the University:

  •     All academic documents
  •     Work Experience Letters for GAP
  •     CV
  •      Passport

2. Offer letter issue time is generally around 2 days to 2 weeks depending on the university.

3. CAS/pre-CAS Interview Preparation and Financial Documentation after receiving a conditional offer letter.

4. Bank balance of 55-60 lakhs for one month

(Appear for pre-CAS interview.)

6. At this time, student should also start looking for accommodation and jobs through Facebook groups.

7. Receive unconditional offer letter - make payment of minimum deposit to the university for CAS.

8. Upload documents to CAS shield and wait for the CAS letter.

9. Receive CAS and apply for a visa.

10. Make visa, insurance, and VFS payments through Kumari Bank Putalisadak. (Student will be given a UKVI link and passport where their application is made and documents are uploaded. the bank will take these details and make payment)

11. Appear at the VFS center at Chhaya Centre, Thamel for biometrics and passports. Students will be directed directly to the VFS appointment booking page once they make the visa fee payment so no need to book biometric appointments separately.

      After the visa is issued:

12. Receive email from VFS regarding passport collection, and a separate email from UKVI mentioning that the visa application has been successful.

13. 3-month entry clearance stamp in the passport. Book tickets and travel before the university's reporting date.

Regarding payments:

 

1. After the offer letter, some universities require a minimum deposit of 1-2k pounds for the interview booking itself.

2. Most universities require a minimum deposit of 4000 pounds for the confirmation of admission after the student clears the credibility (CAS/pre-CAS) interview. then the CAS is issued.

3. After visa, normally universities ask for a minimum of 60-80% of the total fee payment for the first year, while it is better to pay in full from here and then travel.

Total cost: up 30 lakhs
