Karelia University of Applied Sciences, until 2013 North Karelia University of Applied Sciences, is an institution of higher education and applied research located in Joensuu, Finland. It has about 4000 students and 450 staff members. It offers 18 different degree programs. Karelia UAS is a multidisciplinary, widely connected, international and innovative organization offering education leading to bachelor and master degrees. Karelia UAS operates in seven study fields offering 23 programmes  out of which six are master-level studies. The study areas are health care and social studies, business, engineering, forestry, media and hospitality management.

 Duration: 3.5 - 4 Years
  1.   Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Management (IM)
  2.    Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) International Business (IB)

Entry Requirements:
  1. Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Management (IM)
      Academic documents:
  •   2.8 GPA or above in 12th Grade (Diploma is not accepted)
  •    A minimum Grade B required in Mathematics in 12th Grade

 English Language Requirement:
  •  IELTS Academic*: A minimum total score of 6.0
  • TOEFL Academic (iBT): A minimum total score of 60
  •  PTE Academic: A minimum total score of 55
   2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) International Business (IB)

    Academics documents:
  •  3.0 GPA or above in Business related course in 12th Grade (Diploma is not accepted)

English Language Requirement:
  •   IELTS Academic*: A minimum total score of 6.0
  •  TOEFL Academic ( iBT ): A minimum total score of 60
  •  PTE Academic: A minimum total score of 55

Tuition Fees:
  •    9,000 Euro/Year: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) International Business (IB)
  •    9,000 Euro/Year: Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Management (IM)

Scholarships:

  •   An Early Bird Discount of 20% for the 1st year's tuition fee is available if the student accepts the offer letter within 7 days and pays the tuition fees within 20 days from the offer.
  •  If the payment is made later, full tuition fee must be paid.
  •  Early-bird priced or full tuition fee needs to be paid in one installment of the first academic year.

Required Documents for Rolling Application:

  • Copy of passport
  • Complete CV (Email Address and Contact no. mandatory)
  • Proof of language proficiency
  • All Academics (Transcript, Migration and Provisional for Grade 12 and Mark Sheet and Certificate for Grade 10) 

SAT selection method

  •   Applicants can be accepted to Karelia UAS with SAT test results. SAT test sections used for student selection are:
  •  Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, minimum required points: 400
  •  Math, minimum required points: 400
  •   Official SAT test results must be available for Karelia UAS by the deadline. Karelia UAS SAT code is 7782.

Note: An Application Fee of Euro 100 is applicable.
