Entry Requirements

🔹 Undergraduate Programs

  • High school graduation or equivalent qualification.

  • Korean language proficiency: TOPIK Level 3 or higher (or completion of Level 4 in DKU’s language program).

  • Some majors may accept English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 80+ or IELTS 5.5+.

🔹 Graduate Programs (Master’s & PhD)

  • Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs; Master’s degree for PhD.

  • Language proficiency: TOPIK Level 4+ or TOEFL iBT 80+ / IELTS 6.0+.

  • Additional requirements: Statement of Purpose, academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and possibly an interview.

Dankook University provides generous scholarships to help international students reduce the financial burden:

  1. Admission Scholarship

    • Based on Korean or English language test scores.

    • 30% to 100% tuition fee waiver for the first semester.

  2. Academic Performance Scholarship

    • For students who maintain excellent GPA during studies.

    • Up to 100% tuition waiver.

  3. Language Program Completion Scholarship

    • For students completing DKU’s Korean language program.

    • May receive partial tuition benefits.

  4. Korean Government Scholarship (GKS)

    • Full tuition, airfare, monthly allowance, and Korean language training.
